When you are signed out, Tarotap keeps the active question, selected spread, cards, and reading in browser sessionStorage so the multi-step reading can continue. That browser-session copy is cleared when the session closes or when you start a new question. The server receives and temporarily processes the submitted reading content when it needs to produce an interpretation. Anonymous use does not provide an account history. Because a shared device or an open browser can expose what is on screen, close the session when you finish and avoid entering information that you would not want another device user to see.

Registration and saving are optional. When you register, the account flow uses your email. When you are signed in and deliberately choose to save a completed reading, Tarotap sends the question, spread, cards, generated reading, and its summary to Supabase with your account identifier. The account page then uses that stored information to show your reading history to your signed-in account. Signing in by itself is not the same as saving every reading. Keep access to your email and account credentials secure and sign out on a shared device.

Tarotap uses localStorage for the anonymous daily reading allowance and your light or dark theme preference. It uses a locale cookie to remember the selected language for up to one year. When account features are configured and you sign in, Supabase authentication cookies maintain the signed-in session. These categories are separate from the active reading held in sessionStorage.

When live AI is configured, the server sends the question and the relevant card and spread information to the configured model provider so it can generate the reading. If live AI is not configured, Tarotap can return a demo reading instead. Provider configuration can differ between deployments, so this notice does not make broader promises about a provider's independent practices. Before submitting a question, remove identity numbers, addresses, login details, financial account information, medical records, and unnecessary details about other people. You can usually ask a useful reflective question with general context rather than names or identifying facts.

İletişim ve seçimler

You can limit what Tarotap handles by using general wording, remaining signed out when you do not need a saved history, choosing not to press save, starting a new question to clear the active browser session, or closing the session when finished. Feedback can be submitted after a reading; the current feedback action records the selected rating, and it may be associated with your account identifier when you are signed in.
